As an American, it is important to me that I understand how my nation protects itself. The 2000s have so far proven to be tumultuous and chaotic, just like every century previous. In order to best protect myself in times of uncertainty, it is imperative to know from whence the uncertainty arises and towards what the uncertainty applies.
Current Study Plan:
I discovered a great love for mathematics while at university. Now I just need to discover some actual talent, or- finding the former lacking- some skill. I find that I enjoy the discrete more than the continuous, and yet I don't want the skills I've acquired thus far to degrade further. I've therefore chosen three books from topics I've already taken at university, the last of which I unfortunately did not complete in the classroom.
